The Experience

Our Louisville location is housed in a restored distillery warehouse on historic Whiskey Row, serving slow-smoked barbecue, fresh seafood, Southern favorites, and an extensive bourbon collection.
Our Indianapolis location, connected to the Hyatt Place in the Wholesale District and directly across from Gainbridge Fieldhouse, brings the same Southern hospitality with smokehouse classics, fresh oysters, handcrafted cocktails, and more than 200 whiskeys to explore.
History
Whiskey Row embodies the rich history of some of Louisville’s most booming businesses from the mid 1800’s to the mid 1900’s. Louisville’s Main Street became a major trade center for whiskey dealers, blending houses, barrel warehouses & bottling plants; hence the name “Whiskey Row” came to life, & it continues to be one of the most popular locations in the city.
Currently in the heart of Whiskey Row lies Doc Crow’s, where the well-known Bonnie Bros. Distillers warehouse previously thrived. Under the Bonnie Bros. name, five distilled spirits were housed & sold. The history of these whiskey distillers are still seen in Doc Crow’s with markings on the walls from stacked barrels & a replica of the original Bonnie Bros. logo
Doc Crow’s pays homage to the father of bourbon, Dr. James C. Crow, who paved the way for Kentucky bourbon to be born. By utilizing corn & local sweet limestone filtered water, Dr. Crow was able to establish a method of creating bourbon that took the nation by storm. Dr. Crow’s passion & innovation became & still remains the nation’s favorite spirit- bourbon.
Doc Crow's Biscuit House
Born from Doc Crow’s in Louisville, Kentucky, Biscuit House takes everything you love about Southern comfort food and wraps it into one simple idea: the perfect biscuit.
Breakfast is at the heart of our menu, where every day starts with scratch-made buttermilk biscuits baked fresh and built to satisfy. From simple classics like egg and cheese or sausage biscuits to rich, Southern staples like biscuits topped with housemade sausage gravy or roasted vegetable gravy, we offer something for every kind of morning. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a full breakfast spread with coffee or a morning cocktail, Biscuit House delivers a warm, flavorful experience from the very first bite.
